XC Rendezvous
What?
The XC Rendezvous is a new concept derived from the feedback we have received from our returning XC Clinic clients over the past ten years. The rendezvous is a gathering of competent XC pilots that want to fly amazing lines with a gaggle of other likeminded individuals. Though we have routes that we try to fly, there is no competitive element to the flying. Instead our goal is to get as many pilots around these routes as possible. Everyday a group of the best pilots in the country will design a course that will work to maximize pilots' flying potential based on the weather for that day. Each course will include optional detours for pilots wishing to extend their adventure while hopefully leading everyone at the end of the day to a common landing zone where we can all swap stories.
Who?
The NW XC Rendezvous is for experienced XC pilots that want to fly the best lines at the best time of year led by the best pilots in the country! Pilots need to have a proven XC background and be 100% comfortable under their wings and making safe decisions on their own. The rendezvous is for pilots flying EN-B & EN-C wings but EN-D’s are welcome too!
Where?
The Rendezvous will be based out of Chelan where everyone will camp together on a beautiful, private estate. From the Rendezvous camp we will have the option to fly from Chelan Butte or from Tumwater Mountain above Leavenworth. Chelan Butte offers pilots the potential to enjoy the magical rhythm of long-distance flights above the Waterville Plateau or pushing west into the gorgeous mountains surrounding Lake Chelan. Tumwater Mountain is the gateway to the Central Cascades and offers pilots an abundance of route options including the coveted flight to Mount Stuart.
Format
The Rendezvous will be limited to a maximum of 25 pilots led by 4 of the most experienced XC pilots with intimate knowledge of the arena. Nick Greece, Marty Devieti, Austin Cox and Matt Senior. These pilots will camp with you, fly with you and help set task and route options every day during the Rendezvous. While there will be no formal “clinic style education” all of these pilots will be available and happy to give feedback, debriefs and preflight assessments for pilots that are interested.

The price for the NW XC Rendezvous is $1595. This includes 6 days of:
